Calgary Materials Exchange is one of many services offered by Green Calgary’s Commercial Environmental Services program. It is an on-line forum for companies to list materials that are available or wanted for exchange.

Waste Reduction Consultation
One-on-one support to identify reuse and recycling opportunities through a site tour and interview, followed by recommendations and referrals for solutions, to assist your company in achieving desired waste reduction goals.
Online Recycling Directory
A convenient way to locate recycling companies in Calgary.
Waste Measurement Toolkit Assessments
Quantify the waste and recycling composition and rates from your company to create a baseline measurement and improve waste reduction programs.
Environmental Education for Businesses
Workshops
Commercial Environmental Services hosts workshops to explore barriers and solutions for specific materials. As well as being informative, the workshops provide excellent networking opportunities to strengthen business relationships.
Presentations
A wide variety of presentations are available to businesses and organizations to help answer tough questions about the environment and explain practical ways to become green and share Calgary-specific knowledge. These can be delivered as part of a staff meeting, as a ‘Lunch and Learn’ or any other time.

Environmental Education
Environmental education is delivered to schools, organizations and individuals focusing on the environment, health, and the tools to incorporate positive changes into one's lifestyle.
Healthy Homes Calgary
The Healthy Homes Calgary program is Green Calgary’s newest residential service, providing free home visits to Calgarians interested in creating a healthy living environment, while reducing the home’s “eco-footprint”. Tools and information are provided to improve indoor air quality, energy and water efficiency, waste reduction, and more.
The EcoStore
Launched in 2004, The EcoStore provides Calgarians with access to a wide range of environmental products to enable them to reduce their eco-footprint. Staff is selective in the products we carry in terms of their purpose, recycled content, place of manufacture, and "recyclability". The EcoStore endeavours to provide customers with a very positive, interactive experience as well as all the information and education that they seek to effectively use our products or otherwise modify their behaviour.
On-line Environmental Guides
Staff research, write, and disseminate guides on a variety of topics, including green building and renovation, green events, reuse and recycling, and buying a healthy home, that are made available to the public and used in the private and public sector.
