Welcome to the Calgary Materials Exchange website run by Green Calgary. In order to minimize waste going to Calgary landfills, this service is provided to participating Calgary industrial, commercial and institutional companies and provides resourceful contact information of companies that have products available to exchange. It is the responsibility of the materials’ recipients and sellers to arrange payment terms and logistics.

Check the categories at the left to find out what materials companies have available or are looking for. You may also post your own listings by contacting the Program Manager, Sarah Begg.

Another feature is our Online Recycling Directory which can be found on the bottom left of our Exchange Home page. The directory lists companies that continually accept materials for recycling or reuse. All companies in the directory are participants of our program.

In addition to the exchange and directories, we also provide one-on-one support to assist companies in reducing their environmental impact.
